About me.

The art that I create is an extension of my personality, values and life experiences. The Ocean, Surfing, Skating, Motorcycles & Cars are all part of that.

My solo travels to Australia in 2022 to 2023 massively impacted not only my art, but my life. I instantly felt a connection when I arrived in Noosa, QLD. I unexpectedly lived there for the next 9 months. A place known for its nature, surfing and a different way of living. This is where my love for surfing and surf culture became recognised through my use of Polynesian symbols, materials and techniques.

My adventure and exploration in my illustrations were all sparked by Australia but have been embedded in me forever with my love for the ocean. The ocean for me compares to nothing else in the world, it grounds me, excites me and I produce art from my own perspective of the water.

Travelling since has and will continue to stay at the top of my priorities for connecting with parts of me that were waiting too. It also always sparks new ideas, life experiences and so nice to see cultural differences that usually teach me that the simple things are the only way to live this life.

Simple things being something I have always believed in. Which also relates to my work. My work is what it is. Nothing complicated. Imperfectly perfect.

‘Time’ in this life is also the most important to me. Each piece I produce has a point in time and has been thought of in a moment in time. All remembered for a time in my life or a small snippet in my life. Time gives me the chance to create and do what I love, so I continue to choose time over anything everyday.
